THE BURROUGHES BUILDING
The Burroughes Building – has been restored to its original architectural beauty. Built in 1907 as the flagship department store for the F.C. Burroughes Furniture Company, its original design was covered over by later uses which included retail and sales offices for an outdoor recreation outlet. It has 7 floors of opportunity and the best views of the City skyline from the rooftop terrace branded as “Top of The Burroughes”. Part of Toronto’s busiest, most exciting international shopping district. The Burroughes has a central location on Toronto’s principal boulevard of commerce. Queen West has become an international arts centre, and a major tourist attraction in Toronto. An emerging corridor of retailers whose cachet has created a compelling destination for fashion, broadcasting, music, performance, and the visual arts.
